foreign-architecture i386
in /etc/dpkg/dpkg.cfg.d/multiarch to check if MultiArch is enabled, and if it doesn't, run echo 'foreign-architecture i386' | sudo tee /etc/dpkg/dpkg.cfg.d/multiarch
to enable MultiArch and apt-get update
to get the new package lists.sudo apt-get install libusb-0.1-4
sudo apt-get install libusb-0.1-4:i386
/sudo apt-get install libusb-0.1-4
so I did sudo apt-get install libusb-dev
and it worked fine on my Ubuntu 64bit systemlibusb-dev
. This resolved it for me.
